An Akha woman wears the iconic silver headdress with three coin-bands, bells and bead fringes, and an embroidered indigo tunic. She spins cotton on a hand spindle. Three shoulder-bags, two rice ears, four bangles, a chicken and misty tea-hills complete the scene. A respectful tribute to the Akha of Southeast Asia.
