This is how it could look
A detailed cross-section of a medieval Gothic cathedral under construction: at ground level stonemasons carve and workers mix mortar, a master builder studies plans. The middle shows scaffolding with a treadwheel crane lifting stones, above carpenters work on the roof structure. Flying buttresses are being built, a gargoyle set in place, a bishop inspecting, an architect with compass and square.
