Warm, gentle late-autumn scene: small, round, purple-stained blackberry child — cute being whose clothing is all made of blackberry leaves and round cheeks stained deep purple from eating too many berries — standing on tiptoe at blackberry hedge, carefully reaching for very last, perfectly ripe blackberry of autumn. Berry just at limit of child's reach. Tongue out in concentration. Around child's feet: small basket already full of berries; several empty blackberry stalks; mouse that has clearly also been snacking.
