Impossible meeting scene with scientific twist: two salamanders — very closely related animals — meeting for first time despite living in most different environments imaginable. LEFT: mountain salamander (like fire salamander), beautifully patterned in yellow and black, adapted for cool mountain streams, sitting on mossy rock. RIGHT: imaginary deep sea salamander (inspired by deep sea creatures), bioluminescent, adapted for deepest, darkest ocean, floating in dark water with glowing patterns.
