Spectacular autumn maple mandala: large, perfectly symmetrical mandala built entirely from forms of maple leaves in all their autumn glory. Structure: 8 large primary maple leaves form main star shape from centre, each leaf perfectly detailed with fine veins. Between each pair of primary leaves: 3 smaller secondary maple leaves in slightly different colours. Outer ring: maple leaf shapes becoming progressively smaller toward outer edge, with maple seeds (helicopter seeds) filling spaces between. Colour gradient in design: innermost central leaf cluster in deep red, expanding through orange into golden yellow at outer edge. Whole mandala: as if looking down at perfect spiral of fallen maple leaves from directly above. Extra detail: every leaf has full vein network visible; between leaves: tiny maple seed pairs (samaras) arranged in fans.
