Austere landscape scene: North African wild cattle bull (magnificent, powerful animal — perhaps relative of aurochs or wild Saharan cattle) grazing quietly on extremely sparse vegetation at desert edge. Landscape: true Sahel — thin band between desert and savanna. Grass sparse, yellowish, in small tufts. Soil pale and sandy. Bull: powerful, dignified animal taking each mouthful with deliberate care.
