Mandala of Craft Symbols: Guild Craft Symbols — Hammer, Compass, Bread, Axe and Key — in Concentric Rings – This is how it could look

Intricate medieval guild craft symbols mandala. Design inspired by the guild marks (Zunftzeichen) and heraldic symbols used by medieval trade guilds. Structured around the symbols of different medieval crafts: Centre: a small ornate circle with crossed hammer and tongs (smiths) surrounded by tiny flames. Ring 1: the symbols of the main medieval guilds — a large baker's pretzel, a shoemaker's boot, a tailor's scissors, a carpenter's set-square, a weaver's shuttle, a wheelwright's wheel, a goldsmith's chalice, evenly spaced around the ring, each in an elaborate cartouche (ornate frame). Ring 2: continuous chain of interlocking circles (representing the guild chain of brotherhood), each circle containing a tiny tool — needle, awl, plane, chisel, file, bellows, scales, quill pen. Ring 3: a ring of Gothic architectural ornaments (pointed arch shapes, trefoil shapes, quatrefoil shapes) alternating with fleur-de-lis motifs. Ring 4: a band of text-like ornament (simplified Gothic script as decoration). Ring 5 (outermost): a border of the crossed keys of St. Peter alternating with stylised crowns.
