Mandala of Knight's Armour: Heraldic Shields, Helmets, Swords and Lance Patterns in Concentric Rings
Recommended materials
This is how it could look
Intricate medieval knight's armour and heraldry mandala. Design inspired by medieval heraldic art — the blazonry of a noble house exploded outward into a mandala format. Centre: a perfect shield divided into four quarters — one quarter with three fleurs-de-lis (arranged 2-1), one quarter with a rampant lion, one quarter with horizontal stripes (barry), one quarter with a diagonal cross (saltire). The shield has a crown above it and is flanked by two heraldic supporters. Ring 1: a ring of alternating helmet shapes — great helm, visor-closed tournament helm, barrel helm — all in silhouette, evenly spaced. Between each helmet: a small heraldic cross. Ring 2: a continuous band of interlocking heraldic shields (each shield differently divided — per fess, per pale, quarterly, bendy, checky) alternating with stylised swords pointing outward. Ring 3: a ring of lances with pennants, pointing alternately inward and outward, with fleur-de-lis between each lance. Ring 4: a geometric band of scale-like armour pattern (interlocking small ovals, like chainmail). Ring 5 (outermost): a border of alternating chainmail links and Gothic trefoil shapes.
