Curious explorer scene: large fire salamander (orange-and-black spotted, bold colours exaggerated to look almost fluorescent) carefully exploring fresh lava field. Lava just cooled enough to walk on — surface dark grey-black crinkled crust, cracks showing still-glowing orange-red beneath. Salamander testing each step carefully. Has small expedition kit: magnifying glass to inspect volcanic rocks, notebook for recording observations. Found interesting obsidian rock, holding it up to examine in light. Shown as scientific explorer of new world.
